Almost Midnight Dump

Selected drawings from both sketchbooks. It's nice being off the internet, but I feel bad for neglecting my blogs. No need to add any comment for this post, it is what it is.

An Army of Globbins... and Then Some

Final batch of sketches that I considered "acceptable" to post. When I have a bad drawing day, I've picked up a habit of saying "fuck it" to quality and fight it with quantity. It's better than not drawing at all.

Another The Binding of Isaac fan art with a team of Globbins! The dog-like creature is a random concept I had in mind. Despite forcing a background, I'm rather pleased with the result. I'm noticing that my digital works are stronger when I sketch everything out traditionally. Doodling with the tablet still feels very awkward.

Tattoo design sketches for my two co-workers. Final results can be seen on my website. I don't know why I draw so many monsters...

I shouldn't of shaded the top one, but I like the simplicity of the second.

Havery "Femme Face" Dent

My boyfriend and I were watching the HBO marathon of Batman's The Dark Knight series and I had to draw a female version of my favorite villain. Knowing the DC Universe, she probably already exists, but I don't care. The turbo-nerds are gonna have to deal it.

On the right is "Riddlerette", my version of a female Riddler. I don't know why, but I imagined her wearing Kanye shades.

Neglected Big One

I have a big sketchbook and a little sketchbook; the little one tends to get more attention since it's always in my bag. There's definitely more to come. I kept promising an update and kept delaying it, so here's what I have so far from the big one.

I'm not gonna bother with posting comments on each sketch. However, I do have exciting news on my art blog. Tattoo commissions are pouring in, so you'll be seeing a bunch of brainstorm sketches.

Spot Side-by-Side

I forgot I had this little doodle.

Testing out painting styles and layers. The left one is the first attempt and the right is the revisited version. It's really cool and convenient how you can transform and fix drawings on Photoshop. Honestly, I didn't really change much, but it shows how a little goes a long way.

Dump Again

Once again, it's been forever. Here's a dump from my portable sketchbook. They're mostly doodles from work before I clock in or when I'm on break.

This little doodle was gonna be a gpoy image.

Outfits I want to wear someday, except for the "Ravers". I can't stand the club scene, a rave would be an overkill.

One of my managers was really generous and donated me a big bag full of Prismacolor markers! These are a few test doodles. I felt like drawing a black eye after seeing American Dad when Roger got battered by Claus's mob.

Sometimes, I just want to keep my hands moving for the sake of doodling, even if I have no idea what i'm drawing.

Radom squids and cuttlefish with some Binding of Isaac doodles. I love that game way too much. Squishable should make a plush of "The Duke of Flies".

Line art sketches that I wasn't sure of shading. I actually added values to the bottom one and it looks horrific. "Yaow! by Baauer has been stuck in my head lately.

Big Dump, Little Dump

Updating only because this blog needs something new. Also, these images have been collecting dust in my files. Why am I so bad at blogging?

A drawing style test that turned into a fanart for The Binding of Isaac game. Sad, jaded babies are very sad... and jaded beyond belief.

Quick fashion inspiration sketches while at work. Painted over them digitally as color experiments. I kind of like the sloppy pen with digital coloring look. It's simple and gives a little "jazz".

I didn't feel the need to color these guys. "Dullahan" is such a pretty word, hehe.

Some tattoo ideas and a manikin with weird arms (it was attached backwards).

Freaky-deaky eyes and smiles accompanied with music lyrics and tv show quotes that wouldn't leave my head. I need to relearn how to draw teeth and gums. Now that I fully see it, it looks very unnatural.

I was in a very bad mood that day. Apparently, I draw lots of monsters and zombies when I'm stressed out... what am I saying—I draw them all the time!

Gwyneth Paltrow was sitting this way. I found an old tube of black gouache, so I figured I'd play around with them. I forgot how much I loved its soft, velvety texture.

Boring anatomy studies. I do fashion sketches on the side to see if I can apply what I've learned.

ADHD doodles and final concepts for a tattoo commission. The comedic dialogue between the girl and the monster is from Jeff Dunham.
