Splash of Color Here and There

I felt like coloring a few sketches. I'm currently freelancing for Intelligence Reigns Supreme (IRS) Clothing, so maybe I'll post a few WIP designs if I don't get too-too busy. They're really great people. I was recommended by a good friend who's known them for what sounds like forever. When things settle down with them and their new line, I hope I can eventually get to know them as friends. Ok, onto the sketches!

She almost looked like Shiro-chan from Deadman Wonderland when I colored her eyes bright red.

Lately, I've been into drawing girls in menswear and accompanying them with a girly-girls to show the contrasting fashion.

Didn't feel like coloring this one.

Whenever I do fashion sketches, it's usually clothing I'd like to find and try on.

Doodles inspired by Die Antwoord. Yolandi Vi$$er is such a charm with her soft, candy-colored outfits topped with her vulgar-yet-fun personality.

"Brain Jelly" doodles while I wait for my boyfriend at Barnes&Nobles.

Colored "Lady Dog".

Peace.

Pen Abuse!

Finally, some recent sketches. I'm running out of things to say.

On the back of a paper placemats. Sneak sketches during work because if I don't do these I might just explode in rage.

Zombie girls, also drawn during work when I have time to whip out my mini sketchbook. My manager hates seeing that thing, so I leave creepy drawings on the back of every notebook I see on the front desk (unfortunately, most of those doodles are lost since they recycle the cardboard before I get my hands on them again).

Jake and Dinos Chapman reference and a random model.

Santi is always a piece of cake to draw, but Slate's arms and clothing looks very static. I'm not sure if I like how it turned out, but post for the hell of it.

I was gonna do a similar portrait for Thorn, but I got sick of his anatomy. This type of sketch seems more "me" anyways.

I'm sure there's a Left 4 Dead character like this one. Lately, I've been drawing these weird shapes for warm-up. Some book actually convinced me to try this exercise, but I'm not sure if it's doing anything.

A Whole Lot of Females and Creatures

... and female creatures. Girls are fun to draw.

Game Informer magazine had an alien on the cover one time. I liked the simple anatomy, but its face was butt-ugly, so I made it "kawaii~".

Brain jelly poop a.k.a. 'Kino at 9 o'clock in the morning trying to stay remotely interested in what the professor has to say.

I was gonna colors this doodle, but I got lazy from all the scanning and editing. She is called a "Lady Dog" because I can't come up with creative names to save my life.

Inspired by Berlinde De Bruyckere's beautifully grotesque sculptures. Her drawings reminds me of Francis Bacon with a whimsical twist.

Most pen drawings are "brain jelly" drawings. People must think I'm pretty trippy-schizophrenic.

"Piggy Pie" is my fave anthro-OC, probably because she reminds me of myself: a little kid who loooooves to eat and always found eating by others.

I like the "omnomnom coffee" cat.

Testing the new lead holder I bought for "Drawing for Illustration" class. I like the strong marks it can make and the softness it keeps.

More "brain jelly" drawings. Felt pens are fun to mess around with.

Finally, two sketches done for "Drawing for Illustration" class: hands and expression.

Wow, that was a big (sketch) DUMP.
